Kelly Christos – Principal Physiotherapist

BSC: Physiotherapy, Curtin University 2007

Founder of Southwest Physio at Home, Kelly Christos, has over 15 years of experience predominantly in the public health sector (including inpatient, outpatient and the community setting) in both tertiary and rural hospitals.

Kelly specializes in all types of rehabilitation (post-op/injury, neurological), cardio-respiratory physiotherapy ( both airway clearance and cardio pulmonary rehabilitation) and has a passion for falls prevention, balance training.

Kelly prides her self on being kind and compassionate, she always goes above and beyond to achieve the best for her clients. Kelly loves working as part of a team and will liaise and refer to other heath professionals as required.

When not at work you will find Kelly at the beach with her young family, surfing or playing with clay.

Laini Le Chat – Physiotherapist

BSC: Physiotherapy, Curtin University 2014

Laini graduated from Curtin University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy). She has worked in private practice extensively since graduating and completed her studies as a pilates instructor in 2017. Laini combines her background in private practice and exercise therapy to provide a holistic rehabilitation for our clientele.

As well as rehabilitative work, Laini has completed post graduate training in Pre Pointe and Dancer Screening Assessments. 

Outside of work, you can find Laini enjoying family time at the beach and teaching acrobatics to the kids in the local dance schools.

Kim Turnbull – Remedial Massage Therapist and Allied Health Assistant

Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance ( Physiotherapy), TAFE 2021

Diploma of Remedial Massage , 2008

Kim has been a certified massage therapist for over 15 years and a qualified allied health assistant since 2021.  Kim has been working alongside physiotherapists for the past 3 years gaining knowledge and understanding of varied medical conditions. Her previous experience as a massage therapist allows her to carry out manual therapies, should it benefit the well being of the client as well as being qualified to carry out prescribed exercise programs at home, the gym and pool ( aquatic therapy)

Kim enjoys mobile work and especially enjoys working with clients in aged care and disability and aquatic therapy.
